How Do I Get Security Screens For My Home?

security screen

Actually, it’s a simple 3-step process.

1) Give us a call, email, you can find us on Facebook. We're everywhere. Just call and say, "I want to get an estimate." (It’s completely free) We'll schedule someone to go to your home. That's important because we have to take some rough measurements of every opening you want to secure. Whether it's a window or a door, French door, patio slider, or a pet door, we need to know what those rough measurements are. And because each security screen is custom made to fit your home, pricing is based on the width and the height of that opening, and whether it's a window or a door. On the spot, we can give you a quote and we can help you go through different financing options. There are a bunch of incentives for veterans, law enforcement, seniors, etc, that can help bring that price point downs.

2) When you decide to move forward, we schedule, within the next few days, a final measure. It is done by the install team and they do the final measure down to the eighth of an inch. Those are the precise measurements that we work with in the factory. That order then is sent to the factory. (There are two factories - in Mississippi and Arizona) Your order then goes through the production process, so the framing is procured, the mesh is procured and the screens are assembled. At that point, we'll do the powder coating to match the color that you've chosen. (We can do any custom colors).

3) Once the units come out of the factory, it's generally a week in a crate, on a truck, from the factory to our warehouse. And at that point we schedule the final install. Most installs can be done within half a day. So that goes rather quickly. The turnaround time from final measure to install in general, it's about six weeks. Now, if there are delays because of the pandemic, or if there are delays because of rioting, or whatever current situation there may be, we'll let you know at that time, what the current turnaround time is.
