Step 1: The Estimate

Once you schedule your appointment, the evaluation process begins. Our team visits your commercial property with samples and a few basic measuring tools. We encourage you to test our screen samples while we discuss your specific requirements and take measurements. This process is quick and easy, typically only taking 45 minutes to an hour. After, we'll provide a quote on the spot while addressing all your questions.

Step 2: The Final Measurement

Once you've decided that Boss security screens are for you, our chief installer will come out to your property a few days later for the final measuring process. For the best custom installations, we measure everything down to an eighth of an inch.

Step 3: Crafting Your Custom Screen

Boss customizes each one of your security screens to meet the specific needs of your commercial property. From storefront windows to oversized doors, we're here to accommodate you. Plus, we can do any color, just let us know what you like! This process typically takes 6 weeks or more, depending on our current volume of orders.

  • Security screens are regular screens on steroids! The mesh is stainless steel and the frames are made from aircraft-grade aluminum. The whole assembly is so strong it’s rated hurricane category 4!

    At Boss, we offer screens for both residential and commercial properties. Whether you need security for an employee entrance or screens for your home's patio sliding doors, we do it all.

  • Each screen is hinged, with an ADA-compliant latch. Just flip the latch and push. The screen will open like a car door for quick and easy egress.

  • Pricing is determined by the width and height of each opening. Just send us the approximate dimensions in inches and we will generate a fixed quote from that. Here’s more info on pricing.

  • If anyone defeats one of our security screens (no one ever has!) and breaks into your home, we will cover your theft deductible AND replace the security screen free of charge.

  • We use the toughest mesh on the market. It’s a 10x10 or 12x12 weave (you can choose which you prefer!) of wire that’s .035” in diameter. And it’s 100% American-made. Many companies go with a cheaper mesh from China, Taiwan, and Thailand to save costs. But that foreign mesh is not as strong and it does not look as good as American-made mesh. The foreign mesh often has waves and blemishes in it. Our mesh, though, looks fantastic and outperforms the rest. Guaranteed!

  • Yes, our security screens are rated for hurricane category 4. They are perfect for severe weather conditions (which, unfortunately, we can expect to have more of.). Our security screens will help protect your glass windows and the people inside from flying debris in high wind conditions.

  • We can do any color. Everything is custom. Just let us know what you need and we will make it. Btw, you should see the purple doors we made for a client in Sedona!


  • Yes! Each security screen comes with a 15-year warranty on both parts & labor.
