Hi, my name is Allie and this is Riley. Honestly, I think they're the greatest things I've ever purchased. I got them because Vegas is a 24-hour town and most of us are used to coming and going all hours of the night, whether it's work or meeting your friends or people coming in town to visit you. And then quarantine happened and my best friend and I were sitting here and all of a sudden we realized we didn't like being home every night. What's that noise? Did you hear that? What is that? And we decided to research security screens or companies. I have an alarm system. The problem that I was having with the security alarm is if something serious does happen, I'm at work. I can't just leave work. Something has probably already happened. And my friend and I decided that we would research other options.

Basically, after the research and everything that we looked at and talked about, the end of the line was basically just keep out. The most important thing to me is keep out and that's why I decided to get them. I feel like there's really no better thing you can get when it comes to your safety and just feeling comfortable in your own home. I think it's great. I never worry about anything. I really don't. I don't worry about the dog. I don't worry about being home at night. My friend doesn't worry about being home at night. You can have the TV loud. You don't worry about every little sound that you hear. Honestly, I can't say enough about them. They look a lot better than I ever could have expected. They look like they came with the house. It's just really a beautiful job.

We just had security window screens and security doors installed in our new home, and I absolutely love them. One of the primary reasons why I love my security screens is that it allows me to feel completely, totally safe in my own home. Now, I consider myself a strong woman, but if there are people breaking into the house in the middle of the night, or even there's a noise downstairs, a police helicopter circling nearby, that gives me a very uneasy feeling of what am I going to do if somebody does break in? So the security screens allow you to avoid that feeling because you can feel safe no matter what's going on outside. No matter who's trying to get in, you are going to be okay. Here, I wanted to show you something. This is how the outside looks, the yard looks through the security screen. As you can see, there's a really, really good visibility.

And then by comparison, this is what it looks like without the screen. So while you have a very, very strong steel screen in between you and any kind of pests or robbers or anybody like that, any bad people or bad insects, then you can still get that fresh air. You have all the goodness coming through, all the good stuff is coming through, all the bad stuff stays out, which is very nice. It does block, I believe, 60% of solar energy, that UV load on your house, on your energy bills and kind of radiation. So that's very nice. And the same time you get all the fresh air, you get all the good stuff without all the bad stuff. So I absolutely love that, and that's another reason why I love my security screens.

One of the very logical reasons why I love the security screens on our house is that the cost of these screens, and actually the idea of why you need security screens is kind of very similar to home insurance. I'm from the insurance industry originally, and there when you pay insurance premiums, essentially they are for a chance that in the event of something catastrophic happening, you suffer some grave damage or monetary or bodily harm, then insurance company steps in and compensates you for the damage. What I love about the security screenings is that they prevent the damage from happening, or at the very least, greatly minimize the risk of something bad actually happening. And the cost for them is a one-time cost, and that's going to stay on for years as opposed to insurance premiums that we pay over and over and over, and basically for the entire duration of owning a house, we pay tens and hundreds of thousands of insurance premiums, and they basically are there to make sure that we get compensated if something bad happens.

Whereas this is much lower cost in comparison, it's a one-time cost, but then you get so much more protection, especially since with financing works out to only a couple hundred dollars a month for a few years, and then you're done. Nowadays with all the climate changes, with political changes or instability, with societal anxiety and those people are losing it, frankly, I really appreciate having some extra protection for myself and my family. I don't think I ever slept this well before having security screens, and I've ever felt this secure and is empowered despite not having a big old muscles or being a black belt or having weapons. It is just not my thing. I prefer nonviolence and prefer violence not to happen to me or my family. So this is one of the best ways that I could do that is to have these security screens installed in my home.

Hi. Okay. So, my whole entire house I've used the Boss screens. I actually have been wanting to get the security screens for the last year. But right when COVID was starting to happen, it was before the shutdown, I had this gut feeling the shutdown was going to happen, and then I decided that if it did happen that there would be an economy issue and that people would have funding issues and that would raise the crime rate. So I knew that I needed to get on it and get the screens.

So what I'll do is I'll give you a little tour. But the reason why I'm so happy with Boss, well, first of all is the quality of the screens. But the customer service has been amazing. So what happened was when I first called, I got ahold of Valerie, and then Valerie got me in touch with JR, and JR is the sales representative who is outstanding. So no matter when I contact him, he gets back with me immediately and that's so important. Customer service is so important. So this was two days before the shutdown. JR, right away I contacted him and he was out in Mesa and he's like, "I can be there an hour and a half." So he got here exactly an hour and a half, and he was really thorough in giving me the information I need to know about the security screens. And I just told him, "I think I want all of them."

So another part of it was too, picking the colors and that type of thing and JR did a great job. So let me just show you. So if you come here, it's right away. So here's the window right here. And again, JR helped me with the coloring. I wanted the dark screen, and I absolutely love, he helped me with the frame color. And what I didn't expect is once I got the screens, how cool my house is. It affected the temperature because in Arizona the sun is just blaring in. And I've actually had to raise the thermometer because it's kept my house cooler, so that's just one of the windows.

Oh, that's okay. And then another concern I had too, was I have security screens and they were very old. I have four sliding doors in the back and it really made me feel uncomfortable that if someone were to break in. So what was really nice about Boss is that they offered security sliding doors along with the windows. And that was really important for me too. So as you can see, you look on the side. Isn't that beautiful?

Speaker 1:

Yep. They did that one too. Yeah. And something to note too is that when I ordered, so JR came and then two days later they did the lockdown. And once they did the lockdown, I was so scared. I'm like, "Okay, I don't know. Am I going to be getting my screen?" So I needed just confidence that I was getting my screens. And JR was outstanding with just letting me know, "Hey, we're right on track." And Valerie did an outstanding job letting me know we're right on track with the screens. And that was really important to me. So you can see this throughout, up here too. Yeah. They did a great job here.

But what I'm most happy about is the sliding doors. I'm so happy with these. Look how beautiful they are. And if you could have seen the before and after, you would not believe it. But they were so flimsy and anybody could have broken into my home. And so now just to have these sliding doors and know that they can't get in my home is amazing.

Does it slide and open easily?

Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh my gosh. Oh it's so easy to slide and open and then to lock it. It's really outstanding. And one thing too is once the windows were installed, they met the timeline. So here we are, we have a lockdown, COVID, and they said within two to three weeks, I forgot what the timeframe was, but whatever it was, I can't remember. Was it six? I can't remember. Whatever the timeframe was, they made it even with the lockdown.

And Valerie just really worked hard to get that done. And it's amazing, the team, there's only two men and they were just so personable. Andy's one of them and they did such a great job installing and just so professional. I mean, just the area, the cleaner when they were done than when they first started. So that was really impressive too. And when you look at the work, I mean, it's just so clean cut. It's so impressive the work that they did. They did a great job.

I want to say total is six hours.

Yeah, for the whole house. So I'll show you too some more sliding doors. But look at this big window right here. And then isn't that beautiful? I mean, even my neighbors have asked me, they're my neighbors next door. They asked me, "Where did you get your security screens?" They now want the security screen. So I gave them all the contact information.

Oh yeah. And then here's the other, over here too. And my thought was the reason why I did. So here I am, I'm investing, and then what if I decide not to do one window and that could be the window that they break in. So for me, if I was going to invest, I was going to invest a hundred percent and I was going to do the whole entire house. And now I have such a peace of mind and I still have a security system. But even JR was saying, "You really don't need a security system now that we have the security screens." But I still do the security system too.
